How She Started:
Edie has been swimming from a very young age and began competing at 10 after encouragement from her coach. With strong support from her family, competitive swimming quickly became a major passion and an important part of her life.

Hobbies & Interests:

Outside of swimming, Edie enjoys reading and learning about a wide range of new topics. She also likes playing Pokémon in her free time as a way to relax and unwind. Creativity is another important part of her life, and she enjoys sketching, painting, and working with textiles. Growing up in a family that encouraged creativity has allowed her to develop a variety of interests and express herself beyond the pool.

Five-Year Vision:

In five years, Edie hopes to be competing at the international level, with the goal of representing her country at major competitions such as the Commonwealth Games or even the Olympic Games. Beyond results, she wants to become someone that younger athletes can look up to and aspire to be.

Lessons Learned from Swimming:

Swimming has taught Edie the value of perseverance. What was once simple stubbornness has become determination and resilience. The sport has shown her that consistent effort and persistence are the keys to improvement, a mindset she applies not only in swimming but in every aspect of her life.

Legacy & Personal Mission:

Edie wants to be remembered as someone who gave everything to the sport, supported her teammates, celebrated the success of others, and proudly represented her country. More than anything, she hopes to leave a legacy of hard work, selflessness, and dedication—someone whose name people remember because of the positive impact she made both in and out of the pool. ​
